The stylish owner of this restrained and beautiful day spa set in the Mission District knew what she wanted: A calming and intentional space that embodied what it means to take care of yourself, your skin and each other. We ensured the retail area served as a truthful introduction to the day spa and its natural treatments, highlighting first and foremost her selection of beautifully curated, aromatic botanical products. The lines were kept clean and comfortingly geometric; the walls clear of art; and the lighting simple. The result? A sunny corner space in a funky part of the city transformed into a cocoon—a welcome and much-needed escape.
