Modern Sushi concept with lofty sustainability goals prepares for expansion
While this project was never completed due to Covid, the process and magic of the space still fully came together as a design we are very proud of. A modern sushi concept with lofty sustainability goals needed a fresh look to grow and evolve with. While Japanese influence is obvious the earthen textures, warm design elements and soft lighting needed to feel like they could translate anywhere these restaurants might open up. Typically large open, new construction doesn’t lend itself to welcoming spaces and so the layers of wooden screens, dynamic seating layouts and specialty curated textiles, tiles, and ceramic elements keep this space from being anything out of the ordinary.
